For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. -Hebrews 9:27

Your Appointment With God

calendarioWhether you are rich, poor, happy or unhappy, whether you have a great job, or have found the man or woman of your dreams; you will one day die.

Every man and woman has an appointment to one day stand in front of the One True God.

He will come soon
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9

¿Are You Prepared To Meet The One True God?

Who is Jesus?

lion-lambWith respect to the person of Jesus Christ, there are three possibilities. Today you will have to decide what part Jesus plays in your life.

First possibility: Jesus was crazy man. Any man who claims to be the Son of God and sincerely thinks this without actually being the Son of God must be crazy. If we find a man in the park claiming to be the Son of God, we will dismiss him as a crazy man.

Second possibility: Jesus was a liar. He knew he was not the Son of God and he lied and deceived more people than anyone other false prophet in the history of mankind.

Many say: "Jesus was a good man, a prophet perhaps or a wise rabi but not more than that. He was certainly not the Son of God." -There is a big problem with this logic. A good man does not lie nor deceive millions and millions of people in the world!

Third possibility: Jesus is who He said he was: The Son of God.

In summary there are 3 possibilities:

  1. Jesus was a very sincere but totally crazy man.
  2. Jesus was the biggest deciver ever known to mankind.
  3. Jesus was who he claimed to be. The Son of God.

Today you will have to decide what part Jesus plays in your life. Your eternity depends on you being able to answer this correctly.

God's Judgement

  • Would you rather have a Just God or an unjust God?
  • Who wants an unjust God?
  • Who wants a bad God? Nobody!

God is Just. The fact that He is Just is in fact your biggest problem at this moment.

You might ask yourself: "Why is this my problem?" --Because you are unjust. You have sinned.

The Bible says: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" -Romans 3:23

YOU HAVE SINNED, You know it! I don't even need to try to convince you that you have sinned. YOU HAVE SINNED. You have lied, you have had thoughts that are so shameful they cannot even be mentioned.

If I could put your life's events in a DVD and if we could broadcast to the world every thought you have ever had in your life, you would run away and would never show your face in public ever again; because you have done and thought things so wicked that you would not tell even your best friend. You know its true, I know its true! The Bible says so and each one of us know it's true in the deepest most hidden part of our hearts.

God is Just and you and I have disobeyed God. We have broken the Law of God.

The biggest problem in Scripture is:
How can a Just God forgive a sinner and continue being Just?

Let's say that someone kills your entire family and you catch him and take him before a judge.

The judge asks your family's murderer: "What do you have to say for yourself?"
The murderer answers: "Well judge. I did kill them but I'm really sorry and I will never do it again."
The judge says: "Because, I am a judge of love, I forgive you. You are free to go."

I'm sure you would be so mad, you would yell, you would complain against this judge. You would probably even try to go before the President of your country. You would tell the media and anyone that would listen to you, that there is a judge that is more corrupt than the criminals he forgives.

If God is Just, He MUST satisfy his Justice and the only way to do this is punishing you in Hell according to your sins.

God's Love

amor-de-DiosThe Bible says God is Just and as such he MUST satisfy his Justice over you. You have disobeyed, you have sinned and have broken the Law of God; but the Bible also says that God is Love.

God has found a way to satisfy His Holy Justice over you and at the same time save you. It is through his Son; The Messiah of Israel.

Jesus Christ is more than a man.

  • He became man through incanation.
  • Was born of the virgin Mary (Miriam).
  • Walked on earth and lived a perfect life.

According the God's Providence, he was nailed to the cross. In order to understand what happened in the cross, let us analize what Jesus said when he was crucified.

Matthew 27:46 - My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?

What happened on the cross? God's only begotten Son was on the cross and God forsakes and rejects him. Why? -Because when Crist was on the cross, He bore our sin. God is Holy and He cannot tolerate sin. This is why he forsook Him on the cross and all of God's Justice that you deserved fell upon Jesus.

When Jesus died, He payed the penalty for our sins and we can now have salvation through God's Grace and only through faith in Jesus Christ.

We have known many people that call themselves lovers of nature. They worship the god of nature and think that they can come to God without The Messiah.

There are many who scorn the Savior's mediation and if they would find themselves in danger, would immediately would elevate their prayer to God without faith in the Mediator.

Do they suppose that they will be heard and saved by the Great God, their Creator, without the merits of His Son?

Allow me to solemnly assure you in the Wholy name of God, that never has a prayer for salvation been answered by God our Creator since the fall of Adam, without Jesus Christ the Mediator.

"No one can come to the Father but through Christ;" and if any of you deny the Divinity of Christ, and if any soul from your midst does not come to God though the merits of the Savior, the courageous fidelity makes me pronounce that you are condemned people; for as good as you are, you will never be good in every aspect, unless you clearly understand His role.

You can say all the prayers you want, but you will still be condemned, unless you pray in Christs name. Its fruitless for you to take your prayers before the thrown by yourself.

"Depart fromme, sinner; depart from me," says God; "I never knew you! Why didn't you put your prayer in the hands of a Mediator? You could have guaranteed a response. But since you presented this yourself; look what I do with it!" And He reads your petition, and throws it into the four winds in heaven; and you walk away withou being heard, without salvation.

The Father will never save a man without the mediation of Christ; there is not one soul in Heaven that was not saved by Christ;  there is no one that has come to God according to His Will, that has not come through Christ.

If you want to be at peace with God, you must come to Him through Christ, argumenting only the Justice of He who is The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Evidence of Salvation

Evidence of Salvation
Everyone is always saying that Christ will come soon. Isn't it interesting that no one is preparing for His arrival? The whole world is having fun and their thoughts are far, far away from the person of Jesus Christ and God

Everyone says that Jesus is the Son of God, but they live as if He never came to earth. In the United States, 65% of population claims to have been born again, however we are an immoral country. We have lowered and changed The Gospel. We have reduced The Gospel to only a few Spiritual Laws.

Today's believers call themselves "believers" simply because at one time in their lives they prayed a prayer and made a decision. Is this Biblical? Absolutely Not! Our hope should be in Jesus, the Messiah of Israel and not in a profession of faith of our past. If the profession of faith you made years ago was real, it will continue being strong until today. (Jeremiah 32:40, 1 John 2:19).

Titus 1:16 says: "They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him". As you can see, not everyone that confesses believes in their heart.

Matthew 7:21 says: "21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'. Many will profess to know The Lord, but in Judgement day, they will find out that He does not know them.

True believers are known by their fruits. We are saved only through faith and not by works. God has done a supernatural work in the lives of people who have truly converted, that have been reborn. When a person comes to Christ through faith, it's a supernatural move of God; such a supernatural work as the same creation of the universe.

Man is born with a corrupt, Adamic, fallen heart. Man is born with a heart that hates God; but God, through the preaching of The Gospel and the work of The Holly Spirit, can change the heart of a person.

A person with a new heart, a changed heart; not only repents and not only believes but the person's affections also change. Before knowing Jesus, a person loves sin. After coming to know Jesus, a person hates sin. Before knowing Jesus, a person hates Justice, but after coming to know Jesus, this same person loves Justice. This person's heart has changed.

  • Has your heart changed?
  • Do you love holiness?
  • Do you hate sin?
  • Are you getting farther away from the world and closer to God?

If you are not a new creature, you are probably not a true believer. To be sure that we are truly saved, we must examine our lifestyle.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation

2 Corinthians 5:17

Security of Salvation

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them

. -Hebrews 7: 25

Security of Salvation
Beloved brother in The Gospel! Christ can save you perpetually. Are crushed by adversity? Have you lost house, friend and property? Remember, you have not yet "reached your limit." For as bad as you feel, you could still be worse off. He can save you; and suppose you get to the point of loosing even the clothes on your back, without a piece of bread, a drop of water; even then, He can still save you, for "He is able to save to the uttermost."

Same thing happens with temptation. If you were besieged by the most severe of temptations that has ever overwhelmed any mortal, even then, He can save you. If you found yourself in a such a situation that the foot of the devil is pressing on your neck, and the devil would say to you: "I will finish you now!", God can save you, even then. Oh! and in the limits of your weaknesses that you might live in for many years, until you have to support yourself on a cane, stumbling through the length of your worn-out life, and if you lived longer than Methusalem, you could never live longer than perpetuity, and then He could still save you.

Yes, and when your row boat is capsized by death into the unkown sea of eternity, He will be with you; and even when the dense vapors of the grim darkness gather all around you, and you cannot see the uncertain future, even when your thoughts tell you that you will be destroyed, God, "can save you to the uttermost."

My dear friends, if Christ can save believers perpetually, can you suppose that He will allow for a believer to perish? Wherever I go, I will always present my uttermost felt protest against the cursed doctrine that affirms that a saint can loose his salvation and perish.

Some ministers preach that a man can be a son of God today and a son of the devil tomorrow; that God can acquit a man, and however condemn him (save him through grace and then let him perish), allow a man to be taken away from Christ's hands, even when He said this would not happen.

How would you explain this? It certainly is not a lack of power. You might have to accuse Him of a lack of love, and will anyone dare to do such an accusation? He is full of love and given that He is all powerfull, He will never allow for anyone from his People to perish. It is true and will always be true; He will save them to the uttermost.

Lastly, WHY IS IT THAT JESUS CHRIST "CAN SAVE YOU TO THE UTTERMOST?" The answer is that "He always lives to make intercession for them". This implies that He died, which is certainly the fountain of his great Saving power. Oh!, how sweet it is to reflect on the wonderful and great works that Christ has done. Through these He has become "High Priest of our confession", powerful to save us! It's comforting to turn our eyes to mount Calvary and see His suffering on the cross. It's surprisingly sweet to see with eyes of love though those robust olive trees and hear the moans of the Man that sweats tears of blood.

Sinner, if you ask me how can Christ save you, I will respond: he can save you because He did not save Himself; He can save you, because he took on your sin and bore your punishment. There is no other way to salvation except that of satisfaction for Divine Justice. A sinner must die or someone must die for him.

Sinner, The Messiah can save you, for if you come to God through Him, then He died for you. We are debtors to God, and He will not forgive this debt; He will collect his pay. Christ pays the debt and then the sinner is freed from bondage.

We are told of another reason why He can save; not only because He died, but because He always lives to make intercession for us. The man that once died on the cross, lives! This Jesus that was put inside the tumb, lives!

If you ask what He is doing, I will ask you to listen. "Hear!, if you have ears to listen! Have you not heard Him, oh you poor penitent sinner? Did you not hear His voice, sweeter than the music of the harpists that play their music? Listen! What did He say? Oh Father, forgive _________!" Come! He mentioned your name! "Oh, father, forgive him; he did not know what he was doing. It is true that he sinned against the light, and the knowledge and the warnings; he sinned deliberatly and disastrously; but, Father, forgive him! Penitent, if you listen, you can hear Him interceding for you. And this is the reason why he can save you.

My last question. Christ has done everything for you: What have you done for Him? Ah!, you poor sinner. If you know that Christ died for you (and I know He died for you, if you repent), and you would know that one day you will be His. Would you spit on him now? Would you mock the Day of the Lord, if you knew that your day will one day come? Would you reject Christ if you knew that He now loves you and that very soon He will manifest that love?

Oh! There will be some of you that will hate yourselves when you know Christ for treating Him better. One of this shiny mornings He will come to you and say: "poor sinner, I forgive you;" and you will look upon His face and say: "Really? Lord, you forgive me? I used to curse you, I mocked your People and rejected everything that had to do with religion. You forgive me?" Christ will say: "Yes. Give me your hand. I loved you when you hated me: Come!" I say to you, there is nothing that breaks the heart more than to remember the way you sinned against Him who loved you so.
